Open Farm Week!

open farm week posterSo much happens on a farm, especially in the growing season.  Most of it beyond what customers get to see, especially since most people who buy from farms get their products at the market, store or a delivery.

This week, is Open Farm Week in Vermont – a chance for people to get out and see how various kinds of local food are raised and produced at many Vermont Farms.

We are participating, as well as other members of the Floating Bridge Food & Farms.  In fact, one of our favorite reporters, Alaina Pinto, was at one of our favorite farms, Fat Toad Farm, to launch Open Farm Week on Monday.  Check out the videos.fat toad with alaina pinto
